Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: March 2025

TripingGuide is a participant in the Booking.com Affiliate Programme. This means that when you click a "Check rates", "See hotels" or similar link on this site and subsequently make a booking through Booking.com, we receive a commission from Booking.com.

This commission is paid by Booking.com, not by you. It does not increase the price you pay for your booking in any way. You pay exactly the same price whether you arrive at Booking.com through TripingGuide or directly.

Affiliate commissions are how TripingGuide covers its operating costs. Without this revenue model, the site would not exist in its current form.

Our editorial commitment

Our editorial content — destination guides, hotel descriptions, neighbourhood recommendations — is written independently of any commercial considerations. We do not receive payment from hotels in exchange for coverage. We do not adjust rankings or recommendations based on commission rates. Hotels are selected and described based on our genuine assessment of quality and value.

We have no direct commercial relationship with any hotel. Our only affiliate relationship is with Booking.com as a booking platform. This means we can recommend hotels that we believe are genuinely good regardless of which chain or group they belong to, since our commission is paid by the platform rather than the property.

We also use Google Tag Manager to manage analytics on the site. We use anonymised Google Analytics data to understand how visitors use TripingGuide. This data is used solely to improve the site and is not shared with or sold to third parties.

If you have questions about our commercial relationships or editorial practices, please get in touch. We are happy to be transparent about how this site works.
