The view is fantastic! We loved sitting on the balcony. The location is good (within walking distance of the Vatican, the metro, a supermarket, and a café across the street serving good, inexpensive coffee).

No communication possible beforehand! After booking, I had several questions regarding the amenities and received no response for over two months (attempts to contact them via Booking.com and the provided mobile numbers). I even had to contact Booking.com customer service, but they couldn't reach anyone either. As a result, we knew nothing about the check-in process or how to access the accommodation until about a week before our arrival, and our questions remained unanswered. This was very stressful! The accommodation is in need of renovation, especially the bathroom, which consequently looks rather dingy and sometimes smells strongly of sewage. Hooks would also be nice; I have no idea where towels are supposed to be hung.

The accommodation is very well located. The decor is very tasteful and the view is magnificent.

The cleaning wasn't perfect, the jacuzzi wasn't working, and the shower water was either too hot or too cold.

I would have preferred to find more accessories to feel more at home: like shampoo
