The apartment is located in a part of Las Palmas that is particularly windy. Sunlight only enters the room in the late afternoon, and on some days it felt quite chilly without air conditioning. Communication with the hosts was very difficult. They cannot be reached by phone, and via WhatsApp only in writing. Since they respond only when it suits them, issues remain unresolved. Upon arrival, we discovered that the shower drain was clogged. Fortunately, this problem was fixed quickly. However, our request to have the bed linen and towels changed at the end of each week was not handled in the same way. We have visited the Canary Islands many times, and since we usually stay for several weeks, this service has always been provided to us, even free of charge. This time we rented the apartment for a month and assumed such a request would be easy to accommodate. But it wasn’t. First, they stalled us for a long time, saying they would escalate the request to their team. Then they sent us a set of very old sheets and towels and told us to wash and change everything ourselves in the following weeks. Apparently, almost 1,000 euros per week is not enough to offer decent service. We found the hosts' behaviour extremely unwelcoming.
