The house's location was in an area that was bustling with nightlife and bars in the evening, similar to the Spanish Quarters of Naples.

Disliked

The attic was very low, the beds uncomfortable, and when you turned on the kitchen light you'd see lots of insects running to hide, the stairs were extremely steep and had very narrow steps (I've never seen anything like it...). This house is not recommended for elderly people or those with small children...

I especially appreciated the flexibility – I was contacted a few days in advance via WhatsApp and we were able to arrange things accordingly. We were allowed to leave our luggage at the accommodation and a later checkout was possible on the day of departure – perfect communication 😊

Disliked

The good central location also means that there are partygoers in the surrounding establishments - this was the case one night (not dramatic, but the only negative aspect I could find for Booking).

Right in the historic center. Yet, we weren't disturbed by the noise of late-night parties. There was a fantastic bakery just a few meters away, where we enjoyed breakfast with a breathtaking view of Lisbon!

Disliked

Aside from the high, narrow stairs, especially at the top, the apartment has a strong musty odor. Standing space is extremely limited. Standing is only possible in the bathroom, kitchenette, and within a metre and a half of the central roof lintel in the bedrooms and living room. Truly, very little space.
