New and fully equipped kitchen, renovated bathroom, stunning view, parking in the building. The host is attentive and kind.

Disliked

Doors and windows are hard to open and close. There's no washing machine or drying rack. There's no space for clothes. €190 for final cleaning is crazy for a 30 square meter apartment.

Good location for the slopes and the centre of Sestriere. The sofa bed was very comfortable and the bathroom, albeit very small was modern and functional, as was the kitchen. The communal areas of the apartments were well kept and attended to by the caretaker and the apartment was very clean on arrival. The instructions to find the apartment were communicated well through Whats App before check in. The keys can be collected from a key box in the centre of Sestriere.

The sound insulation was poor and you can hear everything from other apartments, albeit the other apartments werent used until our last evening as it was World Cup skiing event. It was difficult to keep the apartment cool in February and even with all heating turned off, it required a window open throughout the stay. The extendable table required a part that was missing so we had to use it without the extension which made it very tight for 4 people. There isnt any storage for clothes, other than a small bedside table and a few hangers so we had to use a kitchen cupboard and under the bunk beds. Essential items like chopping board, Kitchen knives, tea towels, hand soap werent included in the apartment. The beds would have benefitted from additional pillows for comfort. I did message Hostdomus during our stay about these small issues but received no reply, until departure. Most of these issues could be rectified easily with feedback.

The accommodation is new and nice. It's not suitable for 4 people because it's very small. It's close enough to the slopes and you can walk there. The dishwasher is fine.

There's no parking in the garage, and street parking isn't easy. There was a boot room (because there was NO room in the house...) The concierge said there was a closet reserved for us with a Hostdomus sticker... I called Hostdomus and they said they'd take care of giving us the keys to a mini padlock that locked that room... in seven days: there was no way... Final cleaning for such a small apartment cost 120 euros... I got the wrong job!!
