Quiet area, 5-10 minutes from the beach and well connected to the most touristic areas of the island.

The apartment is small and not very well-maintained, but if your idea is to spend the day out and only go to the apartment to eat lunch/dinner and sleep, it is sufficient for 3 people.

We (as a family with a 1-year-old child) walked from the bus station to the accommodation. No problem at all for experienced backpackers. We especially liked the location; it's authentic and completely untouristy. A simple, cozy, private accommodation with all the basics (washing machine, gas stove, towels, sandwich maker, espresso maker, clothesline, sofa, separate sleeping area; we also booked a baby cot, etc.). You can also walk to the beach, and we always walked to the old town as well (it takes about 20 minutes on adult feet). The key handover was very friendly (despite our language barrier; we speak almost no Spanish, Google Translate helped) and straightforward. The accommodation is particularly suitable for typical backpackers/self-caterers, people who prefer the freedom of traveling and hostel culture to mass tourism. ;) Thanks, we'd love to come back!

Disliked

The tiled stairs at the bottom gave us some cause for concern, as our child had only just learned to walk. (People with small children should always install safety surfacing there.) You can hear the neighbors in the evenings. It didn't bother me, but noise-sensitive people might need their headphones.
