Tucked into the residential fabric of Rome, Casa di Gianni brings a quietly refined sensibility to one of the world's most visited cities. Positioned within reasonable reach of the Vatican Museums and the grand sweep of St Peter's Square, this four-star property sits in a part of the Italian…
Who stays here
Couples
Romantic Roman setting with pool and restaurant, though three-bedroom apartments are larger than most couples need.
Solo travellers
Excellent location and amenities, but oversized three-bedroom apartments feel excessive and costly for solo travellers.
Families
Spacious three-bedroom apartments, pool, restaurant, and parking make this an ideal base for families exploring Rome.
Business travellers
WiFi and quiet residential location help, but apartment-style setup and limited review volume may not suit business needs.

"Comfortable apartment with a large garden and in a quiet neighborhood"
Translated from Polish

The apartment was very atmospheric, comfortable, spacious, stylishly furnished, and incredibly practical. Aside from the washing machine, it was fully equipped. A special highlight is the garden with a large table, perfect for relaxing late in the evening with a glass of wine or early in the morning with a delicious coffee and breakfast. The heaters were on (we stayed in March) which was a plus. The neighborhood was quiet. Nearby (about a 7-10-minute walk) there's a supermarket, a greengrocer's, and other shops. The owner was very kind and welcomed us personally. He was flexible about late check-in. Coffee and water were available for the entire stay – thank you! That was very kind.

This didn't bother us much, but for those looking for excellent transport links to the city center, this location will be more challenging. Buses 990 and 990L stop within 700 meters of the building, but the 913 requires a slightly longer walk, and uphill, especially on the way back from the city center. Traffic on the way back was common. The metro is about a 15-minute walk downhill. Perhaps due to traffic, Uber didn't run evening services, even from the Vatican area. However, this wasn't a problem in the morning.

Beautiful flat; very spacious and clean. Great garden too, we made use of it. Location is nice and residential. Uber did not tend to come and pick us up for a short trip into the city, so better to take the train from the nearby station. The host was very helpful and welcoming!

"We had an incredible stay at Casa Di Gianni. It was in a great location, was incredibly spacious"
Liked
The location of the Appartment was brilliant. We were only a 20 minute walk from the Vatican City. The public transport was very easy to access and the train station had only one stop to the metro system. It really could not have been better.
Disliked
It would have been nice to have a washing machine although for a short stay we did not need one.
