Best suited for

💑

Couples

Fair fit

Central location is appealing, but below-average guest ratings and basic facilities may disappoint couples seeking romance.

🧳

Solo travellers

Good fit

Prime Váci Street location with Wi-Fi and apartment-style independence suits solo explorers on a budget.

👨‍👩‍👧

Families

Fair fit

Apartment-style setup helps, but limited amenities, modest ratings, and unspecified room configurations raise concerns for families.

"Great location, very bad apartment."

Liked

The location was great, but unfortunately nothing else.

Disliked

Unfortunately, we didn't like the whole accommodation. The bed linen looked used, wrinkled. Our first thought was to go buy our own. The toilet was dirty, you could have just taken a brush and washed it, but obviously no one did that. Towels were thrown in a pile in the closet, no one bothered to even fold them. The elevator ride was quite an adrenaline rush, a few times we stopped on the mezzanine and couldn't get out, other times the elevator didn't move at all. We go to Budapest regularly, but we've never had such bad accommodation. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

"A good, inexpensive base for a small group to use to explore the city. Don't expect luxury though!"

Liked

The building and the street were quiet. It was about a 10 minute walk from the main bus stop, where you can get to and from the airport, and is in the city centre. It's a good base for exploring the sights and nightlife.

Disliked

The mattresses are, unfortunately, not very comfortable. They aren't really normal bed mattresses but feel like hard sofas. The air in the bedrooms is rather stuffy, as the flat only has windows to the outside from the living room. There was no refrigerator.

Location was great, price was good

Disliked

Elevator was problematic, apartment cleanliness was lacking (old contact lenses on the floor as an example), unsafe hand rails in the loft etc.

"Reasonable apartment, good location, slightly in need of a makeover"

Liked

Location is central to town, had most things in the apartment that you might need.

Disliked

Slightly tired, and would benefit from updating.
