Beautiful, spacious apartment located in Puteaux, a small town just outside Paris next to the La Défense business district. From the apartment (number 7, 4th floor), you have a beautiful view of Paris, including the Eiffel Tower. Two double beds measuring 160x200 cm with good mattresses in the bedrooms, plus a convenient sofa bed. Inexpensive parking is available in the Offenbach garage located opposite (12 EUR per day, approx. 5 EUR per day after two days). Clear check-in instructions via the door code for the downstairs door and a key safe at the apartment. Located a very short walking distance (250 meters) from Puteaux station, making central Paris easily accessible.

The apartment has several minor areas for improvement. The door handles on the bedroom and toilet doors are loose, making the doors difficult to close. The toilet bowl is unstable. The kitchen sink is loose. The hob does not work. Furthermore, there is a lack of wardrobes in the bedrooms and living room, as well as options for laying or hanging clothes in the bedrooms. The shower fitting is very wobbly. The kitchen is sparsely equipped. There are no wine glasses and an uneven number of cups. There are no dishcloths, hand/tea towels, or extra garbage bags. It is nice that there is a well-functioning washing machine, but there is no option to dry clothes. Fortunately, we managed by hanging clothes over chairs, doors, and lamps using the few hangers available. The hot water did not work frequently during our stay. Apparently, a fuse controlling the boiler had been switched off. After contacting the landlord, the fuse was reset, restoring the hot water. We had to repeat this daily. In our view, the deposit procedure is customer-unfriendly. There is a choice between paying a deposit of €500 (refundable within two weeks of departure, so no security deposit via credit card) or a one-time buyout fee of €38. We opted for the buyout sum, but considering the bare state of the apartment, we found this to be quite a lot. Despite the areas for improvement, we had a good stay and would book the apartment again. The size of the apartment, combined with its convenient location relative to public transport and the reasonable rental price, made up for a lot. However, we would bring a few items from home that are now missing.

There's a lack of wardrobes and storage in each room, which is a shame because there's plenty of space. Fixing the problem with the door at the bottom would be much better for older people, especially if you're using it for storage.
