Close to bars, restaurants, and city landmarks for the perfect tourist experience

The air conditioners didn't work; the one in the master bedroom wouldn't even turn on, and the one in the living room turned on but didn't heat the units. They were trying to use a card-operated system like in hotels for the split units, but we were freezing—Salamanca in the middle of February! There weren't any extra blankets or a duvet either; we had to sleep fully clothed both nights.

The apartment itself was great, location, facilities, equipment....

I wouldn't rate it higher because there were some issues: the sliding bedroom door was broken and didn't close completely, one of the two bathroom lights was out, there was some dirt under the table and bed, and the kitchenware wasn't put away properly. These minor details, when added together, can bring an otherwise excellent apartment down a notch.

Regarding the cleaning, there was a lot of accumulated custom material under the bed in the main room. I would like to point out that I had booked for 4 guests and there were only beds made for 3. I contacted the accommodation and only 24 hours later did they provide bed linen and towels for the 4th guest. We had to make our own way to sleep the first night, which was terrible.

The apartment is right next to the Plaza Mayor; it's spacious and comfortable. It's on the third floor with an elevator. The heating is provided by an air conditioning system, which turns off when you're not there, but it heats up quickly, so it's not really a problem. They even left us some coffee capsules, which was a nice touch.

Disliked

Minor details. It lacks kitchenware; a sharp knife would be appreciated.
